2 cups | 292g / 10oz | Shredded mozzarella cheese - (8 oz) - divided |
1 cup | 146g / 5.1oz | Ricotta cheese - (8 oz) |
1/2 cup | 73g / 2.6oz | Grated Parmesan cheese - (2 oz) |
1 cup | 198g / 7oz | Egg (large) |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Freshly-ground black pepper |
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Combine 1 cup mozzarella cheese, ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg and pepper in medium bowl. Stuff each shell evenly with cheese mixture; place in ungreased 11- by 7-inch baking dish. Pour sauce over shells.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes. Top with remaining mozzarella cheese. Bake for an additional 5 minutes or until cheese is bubbly.
This recipe yields 6 to 8 servings.
