Shepherd's Pie

Recipe Ingredients

1 cup 237mlBeef broth
1 lb 454g / 16ozBeef cubes
1 tablespoon 15mlVegetable oil
1/4 teaspoon 1.3mlMcCormick Garlic Powder
1/4 teaspoon 1.3mlMcCormick Black Pepper
2 cups 220g / 7.8ozFrozen peas and carrots - thawed
3 cups 711mlMashed potatoes
1   McCormick Onion Gravy Mix

Recipe Instructions

Combine Onion Gravy mix with water. Set aside.

Cook beef cubes in oil 8 to 10 minutes or until done. Add peas and carrots and gravy mixture. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer until gravy thickens.

Pour beef mixture into 12- by 8-inch casserole dish. Spoon potatoes on top of beef mixture. Bake in 350 degree oven 30 minutes or until gravy starts to bubble and potatoes are lightly browned.

This recipe yields 6 servings.
