Salmon With Chive Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
1/2 cup | 118ml | Miracle Whip Salad Dressing |
1/4 cup | 36g / 1.3oz | Finely-chopped fresh chives |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Finely-chopped fresh thyme |
(or 2 tspns dried thyme, crushed) | ||
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Finely-chopped fresh dill |
(or 2 tspns dried dill weed) | ||
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Salt |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Freshly-ground black pepper |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Dry white wine or chicken broth |
2 | Salmon steaks - (abt 3/4 lb) |
Mix salad dressing, herbs, salt and pepper until well blended. Reserve 1/3 cup salad dressing mixture to serve later with cooked salmon. Stir wine into remaining salad dressing mixture. Brush on salmon.
Place salmon on grill over hot coals or rack of broiler pan. Grill, covered, or broil 5 to 8 minutes on each side or until fish flakes easily with fork. Serve with reserved salad dressing mixture.
