Chicken Fried Steak Recipe - Cooking Index
1 1/2 cups | 93g / 3.3oz | Flour |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Paprika |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Freshly-ground black pepper |
1 cup | 237ml | Milk |
2 lbs | 908g / 32oz | Cube steak |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Vegetable oil |
1 | McCormick Country Gravy Mix |
Combine first four ingredients. Set aside.
Dip cube steak in milk, then into flour mixture, pressing to coat thoroughly. Repeat dipping step until milk and flour mixture are gone.
Heat vegetable oil in large skillet. Add steak and cook 5 minutes per side or until golden brown.
Remove to serving plate and top with prepared Country Gravy.
This recipe yields 8 servings.
