Super Short Ribs

Try these with mashed potatoes.

Recipe Ingredients

1 tablespoon 15mlOlive oil
4 1/4 lbs 1929g / 68ozBeef short ribs
2   Onions - quartered
1   Pineapple chunks with syrup - (8 1/4 oz)
1   Beef broth - (14 1/2 oz)
1/2 cup 118mlBottled chili sauce
1/4 cup 59mlHoney
3 tablespoons 45mlWorcestershire sauce
4   Garlic cloves - chopped
  Salt - to taste
  Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste
  Chopped fresh parsley

Recipe Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Heat oil in heavy large ovenproof pot over medium-high heat. Add ribs and brown well, turning frequently, about 10 minutes. Add onions, pineapple with syrup, broth, chili sauce, honey, Worcestershire sauce and garlic to ribs; stir to coat

Cover pot and bake ribs 1 hour. Uncover and bake until ribs are tender, about 1 hour. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with parsley.

This recipe yields 4 servings.
