4 | Fresh garlic cloves - (to 6) | |
Olive oil - as needed | ||
4 tablespoons | 60ml | Butter - (to 5 tbspns) |
2 | Handfuls chopped fresh parsley | |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Basil |
2 | Minced clams | |
1 | Large can tomato sauce | |
Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste | ||
Linguine - cooked |
Mince garlic. Cover bottom of saucepan with oil and brown garlic. Add butter and melt. Add parsley, basil, and pepper; stir well. Add clams and tomato sauce. Stir well and cover. Let sauce simmer 20 minutes. Pour over cooked linguine.
