Chipotle Flank Steak Recipe - Cooking Index
2 lbs | 908g / 32oz | Flank steak |
2 | Dried anaheim or similar chiles | |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Dry oregano |
3 | Chipotle peppers - stemmed, seeded | |
8 | Garlic cloves - minced | |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Tequila |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Olive oil |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Salt |
Grind peppers and oregano into a powder. Combine with remaining ingredients, except steak and mix into a paste.
Spread paste evenly over flank steak and refrigerate for about 1 hour.
Preheat grill.
Grill steak for 8 to 10 minutes per side, or until done.
This recipe yields 4 servings.
