Seasoned Burgers Recipe - Cooking Index
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Ground sirloin or lean beef |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Garlic powder |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Seasoning salt |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Ground cinnamon |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Freshly-ground black pepper |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Onion powder |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Your favorite BBQ sauce |
Spread the beef out on a plate and sprinkle powder items evenly over the top. Toss it together; do not stir, so as not to break down the beef.
Add the BBQ sauce and toss again. Form into four patties and grill.
This recipe yields 4 servings.
Additional items:
1 teaspoon dried basil for a Mediterranean flavor
OR
1 teaspoon oregano and 1/4 teaspoon cumin for a Mexican flavor.
