Chicken With Teriyaki Marinade Recipe - Cooking Index
In a wok on your side burner, make some fried rice or vegetable stir-fry to serve alongside this dish -- it doesn't get any easier!
Type: Chicken, Poultry2 lbs | 908g / 32oz | Chicken breasts - cut 8 pieces |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Vegetable oil |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Soy sauce |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Sherry or sweet white wine |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Honey |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Sesame oil |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Finely-chopped fresh ginger |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | White distilled vinegar |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Sesame seeds |
2 | Garlic cloves - chopped fine |
Combine all the ingredients (except chicken) in a non-reactive bowl. Mix well. Add the chicken pieces and marinate for 45 minutes in the refrigerator.
Remove the chicken and grill at a medium-high heat for 45 to 50 minutes, turning several times and basting frequently with the marinade.
This recipe yields 3 to 4 servings.
