Sizzling Soy Sauce Steak Recipe - Cooking Index
2 lbs | 908g / 32oz | Top-grade beef sirloin - (to 2 1/2) |
= (or skirt steak) | ||
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Soy sauce - (to 4) |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Sake |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Brown sugar |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Garlic clove - crushed (large) |
Trim excess fat from meat if needed. In a glass baking dish, combine remaining ingredients. Marinate meat at room temperature 30 minutes.
Remove meat from marinade. Preheat a charcoal grill. Gently shake excess marinade off meat before cooking. Lightly oil grill top. Grill meat to medium-rare or desired degree of doneness. Let sirloin sit 5 minutes before cutting. Slice across the grain.
This recipe yields 5 to 6 servings.
