Sizzling Soy Sauce Steak

Recipe Ingredients

2 lbs 908g / 32ozTop-grade beef sirloin - (to 2 1/2)
  = (or skirt steak)
3 tablespoons 45mlSoy sauce - (to 4)
2 tablespoons 30mlSake
2 tablespoons 30mlBrown sugar
1 tablespoon 15mlGarlic clove - crushed (large)

Recipe Instructions

Trim excess fat from meat if needed. In a glass baking dish, combine remaining ingredients. Marinate meat at room temperature 30 minutes.

Remove meat from marinade. Preheat a charcoal grill. Gently shake excess marinade off meat before cooking. Lightly oil grill top. Grill meat to medium-rare or desired degree of doneness. Let sirloin sit 5 minutes before cutting. Slice across the grain.

This recipe yields 5 to 6 servings.
