Marinated Pork Chops Recipe - Cooking Index
4 | Thickly-cut pork loin chops | |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Olive oil |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Balsalmic vinegar |
4 | Garlic cloves - crushed | |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Finely-minced orange peel |
Coarsely-ground black pepper - to taste |
In a large bowl, combine the oil, vinegar, garlic, orange peel, and black pepper. Add the pork chops and turn until well-coated. Cover and marinate for 4 to 8 hours, turning the chops every once in a while.
When the grill is ready, remove the chops from the marinade and place on grill. Cook them for about 15 to 20 minutes over the warmer parts of the fire, and turn them once.
Baste well with the marinade as the cooking proceeds.
This recipe yields 4 servings.
