Grilled Sweet-And-Sour Tuna Recipe - Cooking Index
1/2 cup | 118ml | Dry sherry |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Grated ginger |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Soy sauce |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Honey |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Minced garlic |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Dark sesame oil |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Minced cilantro |
4 | Tuna steaks - (6 to 8 oz ea) |
Build a hot charcoal fire and allow the coals to burn down to a glowing red.
To prepare marinade, in a shallow baking dish combine all ingredients except tuna. Wash and pat dry tuna steaks. Place in marinade; marinate 10 minutes.
Remove steaks from marinade; drain, discarding marinade. Grill until flesh registers 145 degrees (about 3 to 7 minutes per side, depending on thickness), turning once. Serve hot.
This recipe yields 4 servings.
