Beef Kebabs With Rice Recipe - Cooking Index
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Boneless beef sirloin steak, 1" thick |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Honey-Dijon salad or Italian dressing |
1 cup | 237ml | Bell pepper - cut 1 1/4" pieces (large) |
= (green, red, orange or yellow) | ||
12 | Mushroom caps (large) | |
1 | Long-grain and wild rice blend - (6 oz) | |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Salt |
Preheat grill or broiler. Cut beef into 1 1/4-inch pieces.
Place dressing in bowl; add beef, pepper and mushrooms, tossing to coat. Alternately thread pieces of beef, pepper and mushrooms on each of four metal skewers.
Prepare rice according to package directions; keep warm.
Grill kebabs over medium-hot coals, or broil 3 to 4 inches from heat, for 8 to 12 minutes for medium-rare to medium doneness. Season with salt and serve with rice.
