Salmon Tartare

Recipe Ingredients

4 oz 113gSmoked salmon - julienned
1 teaspoon 5mlCapers chopped
1 tablespoon 15mlHomemade or prepared mayonnaise
1 teaspoon 5mlChopped dill
1 teaspoon 5mlMinced shallots
  Juice of 1/2 lemon
  Salt - to taste
  Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste
8   Pumpernickel croutons - toasted (small)
8   Dill sprigs (small)

Recipe Instructions

Combine salmon, capers, mayonnaise, dill and shallots. Taste, and adjust seasonings with lemon juice, salt and pepper. Divide among croutons and top each with a dill sprig.

This recipe yields 2 servings.
