Salmon Tartare Recipe - Cooking Index
4 oz | 113g | Smoked salmon - julienned |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Capers chopped |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Homemade or prepared mayonnaise |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Chopped dill |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Minced shallots |
Juice of 1/2 lemon | ||
Salt - to taste | ||
Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste | ||
8 | Pumpernickel croutons - toasted (small) | |
8 | Dill sprigs (small) |
Combine salmon, capers, mayonnaise, dill and shallots. Taste, and adjust seasonings with lemon juice, salt and pepper. Divide among croutons and top each with a dill sprig.
This recipe yields 2 servings.
