| 8 | Flour or corn tortillas | |
| 1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Lean ground beef |
| 1 | Burrito seasoning | |
| 1 | Re-fried beans | |
| 1 | Picket sauce or salsa - (medium jar) | |
| 2 cups | 292g / 10oz | Shredded cheddar cheese |
To make beef mixture, brown ground beef. Add burrito seasoning and cook until meat is done.
To make bean mixture, mix 1 cup picante sauce and re-fried beans together.
Layer the baking dish with a small amount of beef mixture, then add a layer of tortillas. Spread a layer of beef mixture on top, then add another layer of tortillas. Pour all of the bean mixture on top, followed by another layer of tortillas. Add cheese and a final layer of tortillas. Spread on the remaining beef mixture and cheese and bake at 375 degrees for approximately 15 minutes.
