Spaghetti With Turkey Tomato Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index

3 tablespoons | 45ml | Oil |
3 1/2 cups | 218g / 7.7oz | Canned tomatoes |
12 oz | 340g | Tomato paste |
12 oz | 340g | Tomato sauce |
2 cups | 474ml | Water |
1 | Bay leaf | |
1 | Salt | |
1 | Freshly-ground black pepper | |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Oregano |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Basil |
15 oz | 426g | Spaghetti, uncooked |
In skillet, saute onion, garlic powder, and turkey in oil until brown. Add remaining ingredients (except spaghetti) and simmer for 2 hours or until thick. Remove bay leaf. Serve over cooked spaghetti.
Serving size is 1 cup spaghetti with 1/10 of the sauce.
