Spinach-Stuffed Shells Recipe - Cooking Index
1 | Pa frozen spinach - cooked or thawed and well drained | |
1 cup | 146g / 5.1oz | Low-fat or fat-free cottage cheese |
1/3 cup | 48g / 1.7oz | Parmesan cheese - fresh grated |
1/2 cup | 73g / 2.6oz | Mozzarella cheese - grated |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Garlic powder - or to taste |
1/2 lb | 227g / 8oz | Large pasta shells - al dente |
2 1/2 cups | 592ml | Prepared low-fat marinara sauce |
Mozzarella and parmesan cheese - grated for garnish |
Preheat oven to 350F. Mix all ingredients except shells until well blended. Stuff shells with spinach mixture. Cover with marinara sauce. Bake 30 minutes. Sprinkle with a bit of extra cheese before serving.
