Scalloped Pineapple Casserole Recipe - Cooking Index
3/4 cup | 148g / 5.2oz | Butter or margarine |
1 1/4 cups | 247g / 8.7oz | Sugar |
3 | Eggs | |
1 | Crushed pineapple - well drained | |
1 1/2 teaspoons | 7.5ml | Lemon juice |
4 cups | 948ml | Firmly packed cubed white bread - crusts removed |
In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in pineapple and lemon juice. Gently fold in bread cubes. Spoon into a greased 2 qt. baking dish. Bake, uncovered at 350F. for 40-45 minutes or until top is lightly golden. Serve warm. MC formatting by [email protected]
