Potato Casserole Recipe - Cooking Index
2 lbs | 908g / 32oz | Frozen hash brown potatoes |
1 cup | 62g / 2.2oz | Onions - diced |
1 | Cream of chicken soup - (undiluted) | |
16 oz | 454g | Sour cream |
1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | Melted margarine |
8 oz | 227g | Grated sharp cheese salt and pepper to taste |
Cracker crumbs or cornflake crumbs | ||
4 tablespoons | 60ml | Butter or margarine |
Thaw potatoes about 30 min., then mix all ingredients in a large bowl. Place in a 9 X 13 baking dish.
Crush saltine crackers with rolling pin OR use cornflake crumbs and mix with melted butter. Place topping on casserole and bake at 350F for one hour.
