1/2 cup | 118ml | Cottage cheese - creamed |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Light sour cream |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Grated onion |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Worcestershire sauce |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Caraway seed - optional |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Salt |
1 | Pepper | |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Chopped parsley |
1 cup | 198g / 7oz | Cooked egg noodles |
Paprika |
Heat oven to 350F. Blend cottage cheese, sour cream, onion, Worcestershire sauce, caraway seeds, salt, pepper and parsley. Fold into noodles. Turn into casserole. Sprinkle with paprika. Bake uncovered 15 minutes. or until heated through. Serves 2 as a side dish or 1 as a main dish. Variation-add cooked salmon or cooked chicken cut in cubes.
