Noodle Burger Casserole Recipe - Cooking Index
1/2 cup | 31g / 1.1oz | Onion - chopped |
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Beef - ground, your choice |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Butter or margarine |
1 | Cream of tomato soup | |
1 cup | 237ml | Water |
2 cups | 474ml | Macaroni - uncooked |
1 cup | 146g / 5.1oz | Cheese - grated cheddar |
In a large skillet, cook the chopped onion in the butter or margarine. Mix in 1 lb ground beef and cook until browned. Drain off any excess fat. Stir in the tomato soup, 1 cup water, the macaroni, and cook until macaroni is tender. You can add a can of creamed corn if you think you might like it.
Pour into a casserole dish, bake uncovered 25 minutes, at 350F.
Sprinkle with grated cheddar, bake another 20 minutes.
