Make-Ahead Brunch Casserole

Recipe Ingredients

4 cups 948mlWhite bread - cubed
4 oz 113gCheddar cheese - shredded
4 oz 113gSwiss cheese - shredded
1/4 cup 15g / 0.5ozGreen onion - chopped
1/4 cup 36g / 1.3ozGreen pepper - diced
1/2 cup 31g / 1.1ozTomato - seeded & diced
10   Eggs - beaten
4 cups 948mlMilk
1 tablespoon 15mlParsley - chopped
1 teaspoon 5mlDry mustard
1 teaspoon 5mlSalt
1/4 teaspoon 1.3mlPepper
1 lb 454g / 16ozBacon - fried & crumbled

Recipe Instructions

Generously grease 13 x 9-inch pan. Arrange bread cubes in bottom of dish. Layer cheese, green onions, green pepper, mushrooms and tomatoes on top of bread. In large bowl, combine eggs, milk, and seasonings; mix well. Pour egg mixture over bread; sprinkle bacon evenly over top. Cover; refrigerate overnight.

Heat oven to 325F.

Bake uncovered 50 to 60 minutes or until center is set. Stand 10 minutes before serving. Makes 12 servings.
