Ginny's Cheese Sausage Casserole

Recipe Ingredients

10		Day old bread
1/2 lb	227g / 8oz	Cheddar cheese - grated
1 1/2 lbs	681g / 24oz	Sausage - (hot or mild) link
4		Eggs
2 1/4 cups	533ml	Milk
1/2 teaspoon	2.5ml	Prepared mustard
1 tablespoon	15ml	Grated onion
1/4 teaspoon	1.3ml	Salt
1		Pepper

Recipe Instructions

Remove crusts of bread and spread 1/2 of bread on bottom of greased casserole, 12x8". Cover with cheese and browned sausage which has been well cooked and cut into slices. Cube remaining bread slices and spread on top. Beat eggs and remaining ingredients together and pour over casserole. Cover and refrigerate several hours or overnight. Bake at 325F for 1 hour, uncovered.
