Asparagus Chicken Recipe - Cooking Index

1/4 cup | 59ml | Oil |
4 teaspoons | 20ml | Butter - melted |
1/4 cup | 15g / 0.5oz | Flour |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt |
2 cups | 474ml | Chicken broth |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Heavy cream |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Tabasco |
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Asparagus |
1/2 cup | 73g / 2.6oz | Parmesan cheese - grated |
Brown the chicken in oil. In a saucepan, add flour and salt to butter. Stir in chicken broth and cook until thick. Remove from heat; add cream and Tabasco. Place asparagus in the bottom of a 9x13" casserole. Arrange the chicken on top of the asparagus. Pour sauce over the chicken and asparagus. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 350F for 45 minutes.
