Creole Beef Over Rice

Recipe Ingredients

1 1/2 lbs 681g / 24ozCertified Angus Beef bottom round steak - cut /2" cubes
2 teaspoons 10mlVegetable oil
1 teaspoon 5mlOnion - chopped (large)
1 teaspoon 5mlGreen bell pepper - chopped (large)
4   Celery - chopped
1 tablespoon 15mlCreole seasoning - to taste
2   Stewed tomatoes - (14 1/2 oz ea)
  (Cajun style if available)
  Hot cooked rice

Recipe Instructions

Heat oil in large heavy skillet or pot; brown beef about 2 minutes, stirring constantly; drain. Add onions, pepper and celery and saute for 3 minutes. Add Creole seasoning and stewed tomatoes. Cover and cook over low heat about 25 minutes, stirring frequently.

Serve over hot cooked rice.
