Butternut Apple Casserole Recipe - Cooking Index
1 | Butternut squash - peeled, seeded, chunkd | |
3 | Apples - cored,peeled, sliced | |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Lemon juice |
3/4 teaspoon | 3.8ml | Cinnamon - ground |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Brown sugar |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Apple juice |
Preheat Oven to 350F.
Combine squash and apples with lemon juice and cinnamon. Place squash-apple mixture in a one quart casserole and sprinkle with brown sugar. Pour apple juice over mixture, and cover casserole.
Bake for one hour, or until squash is fork tender.
