Butter Steamed Calico Stew Recipe - Cooking Index
1/3 cup | 65g / 2.3oz | Unsalted butter |
2 | Potatoes - cubed | |
4 | Fresh corn | |
1/2 cup | 55g / 1.9oz | Carrots - diced |
1/2 cup | 31g / 1.1oz | Onion - chopped |
3/4 teaspoon | 3.8ml | Salt |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Sugar |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Dill |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Pepper |
4 | Roma tomatoes - chopped (2 cups) | |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Fresh chives |
Melt butter in saucepan. Add potatoes, corn, carrots, onion, salt, sugar, dill, and pepper. Cover and cook, stirring frequently, over medium heat, until potatoes are tender. Sprinkle in tomatoes and cook until hot yet firm. Sprinkle in chives.
