Rice, Corn & Cheese Casserole Recipe - Cooking Index
3 cups | 480g / 16oz | Cooked rice - brown or white |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Chili powder |
2 cups | 125g / 4.4oz | Corn kernels |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Black pepper - ground |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Onion - chopped fine (small) |
Paprika | ||
2 cups | 474ml | Sharp cheddar - grated |
1 1/2 cups | 355ml | Whole milk |
Preheat the oven to 350F.
Combine all the ingredients except the paprika in a large mixing bowl. Blend thoroughly.
Pour into a well greased (2 quart) casserole dish.
Sprinkle with paprika.
Bake 40 to 45 minutes.
Serve hot
