Lemon Garlic Alaska Cod Recipe - Cooking Index
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Butter - see * Note |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Minced garlic |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Lemon pepper |
2 | Cod fillets - (4 to 6 oz ea) - thawed if necessary | |
Lemon wedges |
* Note: If desired, olive oil may be substituted for butter.
Melt butter in large skillet over medium-high heat. Stir in garlic. Season cod fillets on both sides with lemon pepper. Place fillets in pan and cook for 10 minutes per inch of thickness, measured at thickest part, or until fish flakes when tested with a fork.
Flip fillets halfway through cooking to brown on both sides. Sprinkle with lemon juice before serving.
This recipe yields 2 servings. Recipe may easily be doubled.
