Onion Casserole

Recipe Ingredients

2 tablespoons 30mlVidalia onions - sliced (large)
2 tablespoons 30mlButter or margarine - melted
1   Cream of chicken soup - condensed
1/2 cup 118mlMilk
1 tablespoon 15mlSoy sauce
2 cups 292g / 10ozSwiss cheese - shredded (8 oz.)
1/2   Loaf french bread
2 tablespoons 30mlButter or margarine - melted

Recipe Instructions

Saute onion in 2 T. butter in a large skillet until crisp-tender. Spoon into an 8x12x2 inch casserole.

Combine soup, milk, and soy sauce, mix well; pour over onion. Sprinkle cheese evenly over sauce. Cut bread into 3/4 inch slices; arrange on top of casserole. Brush bread with butter. Bake at 350F. for 30 minutes or until bread is golden brown.
