Alaska Sablefish Salad Recipe - Cooking Index
1 cup | 237ml | Steamed or poached sablefish - cut 1" chunks |
1 | Tomato - diced | |
1 | Avocado - peeled, diced | |
1/2 cup | 73g / 2.6oz | Diced cucumber |
2 | Green onions - diagonally sliced | |
Lettuce | ||
Vinaigrette Dressing | ||
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Oil |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Wine vinegar |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Salt |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Freshly-ground black pepper |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Crushed oregano leaves |
3 splash | Bottled hot pepper sauce |
Combine sablefish, tomato, avocado, cucumber and onions. Toss gently with Vinaigrette Dressing. Serve on lettuce-lined platter.
Vinaigrette Dressing: Combine all ingredients. (Makes about 1/3 cup)
This recipe yields 2 main-dish servings or 4 side-dish servings. Recipe may be halved or doubled.
