Alaska Sablefish And Vegetable Stir-Fry Recipe - Cooking Index
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Sablefish fillets or steaks - thawed if necessary |
Salt - to taste | ||
Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste | ||
1 | Onion (medium) - halved, and thinly sliced | |
3 | Zucchini - cut 1/4" slices | |
2 | Carrots - sliced thin Diagonally | |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Thyme - crushed |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Oil |
Grated Parmesan cheese - (optional) |
Cut sablefish in 1 1/2-inch chunks; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Stir-fry sablefish, vegetables and thyme in hot oil 8 to 10 minutes or until sablefish flakes easily when tested with a fork and vegetables are crisp-tender. Serve with Parmesan cheese.
Recipe may be halved or doubled.
Serving tip: Stir-fry sablefish and vegetables may be served with hot green pasta.
