Thailand Peanut Pesto Recipe - Cooking Index
1 cup | 237ml | Unsalted roasted peanuts |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Soy sauce |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Tabasco brand Pepper Sauce |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Honey |
1/3 cup | 78ml | Water |
3 | Garlic cloves - minced | |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Sesame oil |
12 oz | 340g | Bow-tie pasta - freshly cooked |
Chopped green onion - for garnish |
Place peanuts in bowl of food processor, and process until finely ground. With motor running, add remaining ingredients -- except for pasta and green onions -- one at a time, through feed tube. Process until thick, smooth paste has formed. Transfer mixture to bowl, cover, and refrigerate until ready to use.
Toss with hot bow tie pasta and garnish with chopped green onions.
This recipe yields 4 servings.
