Jerked Pork Chops Recipe - Cooking Index
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Tabasco brand Green Pepper Sauce |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Garlic powder |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Ground cumin |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Thyme leaves |
1/8 | Pon Ground allspice | |
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Boneless pork loin chops, 1/2" thick |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Olive oil |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Water |
In small bowl, combine Tabasco sauce, garlic powder, salt, cumin, thyme, and allspice. Spread mixture on both sides of pork chops.
In 12-inch skillet over medium heat, in hot oil, cook chops until well-browned on all sides. Add water to skillet, heat to boiling, stirring to loosen brown bits. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 10 minutes or until chops are tender.
This recipe yields 4 servings.
