Spicy Turkey Burgers Recipe - Cooking Index
| 1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Ground turkey |
| 1/4 cup | 15g / 0.5oz | Grated onion |
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Plain yogurt |
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Chopped fresh dill |
| (or 1 tspn dried dill) | ||
| 1 | Garlic clove - crushed (large) | |
| 1 1/2 teaspoons | 7.5ml | Tabasco pepper sauce |
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt |
| 4 | Kaiser rolls - split | |
| Lettuce leaves | ||
| Tomato slices |
Preheat grill.
Meanwhile, in large bowl combine ground turkey, onion, yogurt, dill, garlic, Tabasco pepper sauce and salt and mix well. Shape mixture into four 1/2-inch-thick patties. Grill burgers 4 to 6 inches from heat source, 3 to 4 minutes on each side or until no longer pink inside.
To serve, place turkey burgers on rolls; top with lettuce and tomato slices.
This recipe yields 4 servings.
