San Francisco Club Sandwich Recipe - Cooking Index
3 | Bacon slices | |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Mayonnaise or salad dressing |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Tabasco pepper sauce |
3 | Toasted sourdough bread | |
Sliced turkey - to taste | ||
Sliced herb-garlic or Swiss cheese - to taste | ||
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Chutney |
Romaine lettuce |
In large skillet, over medium heat, cook bacon, drain and reserve. In small bowl, combine mayonnaise and Tabasco pepper sauce. Spread on one side of each slice of toast. Top one slice toast with turkey and cheese. Top with second toast slice. Add bacon, chutney and romaine. Finish with toast. Anchor with toothpicks. Cut in half.
This recipe yields 1 club sandwich.
