Plum Tomato Basil Pizza Recipe - Cooking Index
1 | Refrigerated pizza dough - (10 oz) | |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Cornmeal |
1 cup | 146g / 5.1oz | Shredded Stella Mozzarella Cheese |
4 | Ripe Italian plum tomatoes - seeded, sliced | |
1/2 cup | 20g / 0.7oz | Fresh basil leaves |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Tabasco pepper sauce |
Olive oil |
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Prepare 12-inch round pizza crust according to package directions. Dust crust with cornmeal. Distribute Stella mozzarella cheese evenly over crust. Layer with tomato slices and basil leaves. Drizzle with Tabasco sauce and olive oil. Bake 15 minutes, or until crust is golden brown.
This recipe yields 2 to 4 servings.
