Fiery Boursin Burgers Recipe - Cooking Index
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Lean ground beef |
1 | Egg - beaten | |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Worcestershire sauce |
3/4 teaspoon | 3.8ml | Tabasco pepper sauce |
1 | Boursin or herbed chevre cheese - (5 oz) |
Preheat broiler
In medium bowl, combine beef, egg, Worcestershire and Tabasco sauce until mixed well. Divide into five portions.
Form three-quarters of each portion into patty, reserving remainder. Make indentation in center of patty and fill with 2 tablespoons cheese. Cover cheese with reserved meat, and form a finished patty.
Broil patty 3 to 5 minutes on each side, according to taste. Serve immediately.
This recipe yields 5 burgers.
