1 | Tabasco 7 Spice Chili Recipe - (16 oz) | |
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Lean ground beef |
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Ground turkey |
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Egg (large) |
1/2 cup | 73g / 2.6oz | Fresh bread crumbs |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Tabasco pepper sauce |
1 1/2 teaspoons | 7.5ml | Salt |
1 1/2 teaspoons | 7.5ml | Dried thyme leaves |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Ground cumin |
In 10-inch skillet, over medium heat in hot oil, cook celery, onion and garlic until tender, about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Set aside 1/2 cup Tabasco 7 Spice Chili Recipe. In large bowl, combine remaining chili recipe, ground beef, ground turkey, egg, bread crumbs, Tabasco pepper sauce, salt, thyme, cumin and cooked celery mixture until well mixed.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In 12- by 8-inch baking dish, shape mixture into 10- by 4-inch oval. Brush top with reserved 1/2 cup Tabasco 7 Spice Chili Recipe. Bake 1 hour.
This recipe yields 8 servings.
Serving Suggestion: Serve meat loaf with roasted new potatoes, baby carrots, broccoli, cauliflower and green beans.
