Grilled Turkey Herb Burgers Recipe - Cooking Index
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Ground skinless turkey breast |
1 | Onion - finely chopped | |
1/4 cup | 36g / 1.3oz | Seasoned dried bread crumbs - plus |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Seasoned dried bread crumbs |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Minced parsley |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Reduced calorie mayonnaise |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Minced fresh basil |
= (or 1 tspn dried basil) | ||
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Dijon mustard |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Coarsely-ground black pepper |
Preheat the broiler.
In a large bowl, lightly combine the turkey, onion, bread crumbs, parsley, mayonnaise, basil, mustard and pepper. Shape into 4 equal burgers.
Spray the broiler rack with nonstick cooking spray; broil the burgers 5 inches from the heat, until well done, 4 to 5 minutes on each side.
