Honey-Baked Barbecue Chicken Recipe - Cooking Index

| Ground black pepper | ||
| 1/2 cup | 118ml | Tomato sauce |
| 1 | Green bell pepper - finely diced | |
| 1/4 cup | 59ml | Worcestershire sauce |
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Lemon juice |
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Ground dry mustard |
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Ground ginger |
| 1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Ground cloves |
| 1/2 cup | 118ml | Honey |
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Place chicken pieces in a shallow baking pan; salt and pepper to taste. Combine tomato sauce and green pepper. Stir in Worcestershire and lemon juice. Add dry mustard, ginger and cloves; mix well. Stir in honey. Pour over chicken pieces. Turn pieces to coat on all sides.
Bake about 70 minutes. Turn pieces once or twice during baking.
Yields 4 servings.
