Sauteed Turkey In Orange Sauce

Recipe Ingredients

2 tablespoons 30mlAll purpose flour
1 lb 454g / 16ozTurkey cutlets (turkey breast slices) - pounded thin
1 tablespoon 15mlOlive oil
1/3 cup 20g / 0.7ozSliced green onions, white part only
1 cup 237mlGarlic clove - thinly sliced (large)
3/4 cup 177mlFresh orange juice
1 tablespoon 15mlLow-sodium soy sauce
1 tablespoon 15mlSesame oil
1/4 cup 15g / 0.5ozSliced green onion tops
  Salt - to taste
  Freshly-ground black pepper - to taste

Recipe Instructions

Dredge turkey cutlets in flour, shake off excess, and season with salt and pepper.

Heat olive oil in a nonstick skillet on high heat. Add turkey cutlets and cook until lightly browned, about 3 minutes per side. Transfer turkey to a plate.

Reduce the heat under skillet to medium and add the white part of green onions and garlic, cook about 2 minutes. Add orange juice and soy sauce, bring to a boil and cook until slightly thickened, about 3 minutes. Stir in sesame oil and season with salt and pepper.

Return turkey to the skillet and simmer just until turkey is heated through, about 2 to 3 minutes. Transfer turkey to serving plates, spoon the sauce on top and sprinkle with green onions.

This recipe yields 4 servings.
