1 1/2 lbs | 681g / 24oz | Coarse-ground turkey |
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Onion - chopped (medium) |
1 | No yolk wide noodles - (8 oz) | |
1/2 | Cheddar cheese soup | |
3 cups | 711ml | Low-sodium tomato sauce |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Basil |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Oregano |
4 oz | 113g | Fresh mushrooms - sliced |
2 oz | 56g | Pepperoni - chopped |
6 oz | 170g | Low-fat mozzarella cheese - shredded |
Boil noodles until "al dente."
In the meantime, brown the turkey and onion. Drain. Mix the tomato sauce, herbs, soup, and mushrooms together in a large bowl. Add the ground turkey and onion. Stir in the noodles.
Pour into a baking dish. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes. Uncover and top with chopped pepperoni and mozzarella cheese. Bake another 10 minutes uncovered or until cheese has melted and is bubbly.
This recipe yields 8 servings.
