Scalloped Oysters - 1 Recipe - Cooking Index
1 | Oysters - (select or large) | |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Light cream - up to 3/4 |
3 cups | 711ml | Ritz crackers - crumbled |
1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | Margarine - melted |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Celery seed |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Pepper |
Preheat oven to 375F Grease 11 1/2 x 7 1/2 x 1 1/2 baking dish. Arrange oyster (with liquor) in baking dish.
Pour about half the cream over oysters.
Combine crackers, margarine and seasonings, sprinkle over oysters.
Pour remaining cream over oysters and seasonings mixture.
Bake uncovered 30-40 minutes.
