Salmon Steak Bake Recipe - Cooking Index
| 2 | Frozen salmon steaks - (12oz) | |
| 1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Ground pepper |
| 1/2 cup | 118ml | Dry red wine |
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Lemon juice |
| 1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Cornstarch |
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt |
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Butter or margarine - melted |
| 1/4 cup | 15g / 0.5oz | Finely chopped onion |
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Water - cold |
| 1/2 cup | 118ml | Seedless green grapes |
Heat oven to 475F
Place frozen salmon steaks in buttered baking dish, 12 x 8 x 2 inches. Sprinkle with salt and pepper; brush with melted butter.
Bake uncovered 15 minutes.
While steaks are baking, heat wine, onion and lemon juice to boiling in 1 1/2-quart saucepan; reduce heat.
Simmer uncovered 5 minutes. Stir water into cornstarch; stir into wine sauce. Heat to boiling.
Boil and stir 1 minute. Stir in grapes. Spoon sauce over salmon.
Bake uncovered 5 minutes.
