Herbed Fish Fillets Recipe - Cooking Index
1/2 cup | 31g / 1.1oz | Enriched corn meal - - Aunt Jemima or |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt - (optional) |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Dillweed |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Paprika |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Pepper |
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Cod - halibut or sole fillets |
OR frozen and thawed) | ||
1 | Egg - beaten | |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Milk |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Margarine or butter - melted |
Heat oven to 350F Combine corn meal and seasonings. Dip fish in combined egg and milk.
Coat with corn meal mixture. Place in 15x10-inch jelly roll pan.
Drizzle with margarine. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. Garnish with parsley and lemon wedges, if desired.
