Golden Fried Catfish Recipe - Cooking Index
6 | Catfish - cleaned and dressed (small) | |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Salt |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Pepper |
2 cups | 125g / 4.4oz | Cornmeal - self-rising |
Vegetable oil |
Sprinkle catfish with salt and pepper. Place cornmeal in a paper bag; drop in catfish, one at a time, and shake until coated.
Fry in deep hot oil (375F) until golden brown; drain well.
Serve hot.
