Dr. Pedron's Filipino-Style Chicken Recipe - Cooking Index
4 | Boneless skinless chicken breast fillets - (3 1/2 oz ea) | |
6 | Garlic cloves - pressed | |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Lemon juice (preferably fresh squeezed) |
1 cup | 237ml | Water |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Low-sodium soy sauce |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Crushed peppercorn |
6 teaspoons | 30ml | Bay leaves (medium) |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Brown sugar - (optional) |
12 tablespoons | 180ml | Fresh sage leaves (small) |
Mix ingredients in bowl and add chicken. Marinate overnight or for at least four hours before cooking. Cook chicken on a hot grill. Serve with grilled fresh vegetables basted with olive oil and vinegar, rice, bread and fresh fruit.
