Cheesy Broiled Flounder Recipe - Cooking Index
2 lbs | 908g / 32oz | Flounder or white fish |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Lemon juice |
1/2 cup | 73g / 2.6oz | Parmesan cheese - grated |
1/4 cup | 49g / 1.7oz | Butter - softened |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Mayonnaise |
3 | Green onions - chopped | |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Salt |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Hot sauce |
Place fillets in a single layer on a greased, shallow oven-to-table type broiler pan; brush with lemon juice. Combine next 6 ingredients in a small bowl and set aside.
Broil fillets 4 to 6 minutes or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork.
Remove from oven; spread with cheese mixture. Broil an additional 30 seconds or until cheese is lightly browned and bubbly.
Garnish with lemon twists and parsley if desired.
