Lemon Herb Roasted Chicken Recipe - Cooking Index
4 lbs | 1816g / 64oz | Fryer or roasting chicken |
1/4 cup | 15g / 0.5oz | Onions - chopped |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Margarine or butter |
One lemon - juice of | ||
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Fresh parsley or dried parsley flakes |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Leaf thyme |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Paprika |
Rinse chicken well and pat dry; remove any excess fat. Place onion in the cavity of the chicken and rub the skin with butter or margarine. Place chicken in Crock pot, squeeze the juice of the lemon over the chicken and sprinkle with remaining seasoning .
